New Orleans rap artist Sissy Nobby born Terelle Gallo started his journey of life on May 7, 1983. At the tender age of 10-years old, Terelle discovered and began to unravel his God given music talent. Terelle began singing and writing rap songs that later evolved into what is considered to be one of most popular rap artists in New Orleans. As Terelle matured from a vibrant boy into manhood rapping as a hobby, he evolved into manhood calling himself “Sissy Nobby”. Throughout his teenage years Terelle faced many obstacles and challenges growing up as an inner city youth in New Orleans where he attended Booker T. Washington. One of those challenges resulted in Terelle dropping out of middle school. It was then that Terelle impregnated his mind with the aspiration of becoming a famous rap artist. These ideas became the evolution of something big for New Orleans local rap industry subsequently, the birthing of Sissy Nobby.

Sissy Nobby had a strong influence from other local popular and successful artists such as Big Freedia, DJ Jubilee, Katy Red, Cheeky Black, Fifth Ward Weebie, Gotty Boi Chris and Calliope Priest. “Lousiana upstart Sissy Nobby's punchy set proved his buzzworthy status, the appeal of his New Orleans bounce shattering all regional barriers. In fact, Americans dominate this particular soundscape: while a myriad of local urban acts play, nothing quite sets off the Danes like a DJ dropping a gold Jay-Z or Biggie track.
