Biography:

Noorsyarmilla Jirin or Mila Jirin was born in Penang, Malaysia on the 23rd December 1987.

Currently Mila Jirin Launch her 1st English Single "BREAKDOWN" in collobrate with UK Major Independent Label together with MJ Panacea Records and Distribute by Warner Music Malaysia.

Her career as a singer started when she participates in the fifth season of Akademi Fantasia (a singing reality competition) in 2007. She became the first ever female champion and signed a 3 year contract with Maestro Records.

On 2nd July 2007 - first compilation album. The album, titled 'Best Of Mila Wazzup...Wazzup!' is a compilation of the 12 songs sung by Mila during the Akademi Fantasia competition.

28 December 2007 - Her first solo album ' Persis Mutiara' was launced on by Maestro Records. With 8 new songs, the album was not only sold in Malaysia but also in Singapore and Brunei.

With various hits from the album,Mila has successfully garnered a few awards in 2007 :
- Fan's Choice Most Promising Artists Era Award
- Fan's Choice Pop Song Era Award
- Popular New Female Artist ABPBH Popular Star Award
- Nominated in the Popular Female Singer category at ABPBH Popular Star Award

In 2008, Mila was nominated in:
- Planet Music Awards in the Best New Artist category
- The Most Popular Female Artist category.
- Nominated in the Popular Female Singer category at ABPBH Popular Star Award

In the same year (2008), she was flown to Varna, Bulgaria to participate in the 17th International Pop Music Festival. At the festival, she won the First Award in the Song Category for the song Ilham Di Matamu, Special Award from the Organizing Committee and the Miss Tourism Bulgaria Award.

In 2009, she was once again nominated in the Popular Female Singer category at ABPBH. 2009 proves to be a rough year for Mila as her record label Maestro Records was closed down. She was then subsumed under the new management of Astro Entertainment Sdn Bhd.

Other than singing, Mila was also involved in acting. She acted in her first movie role as a main supporting in "Lu Pikirlah Sendiri de Movie". She also starred in her first musical drama series as the lead actor for "Kau dan Aku" and acted in other various dramas for television in 2009 and 2010. Her voice was also used as the Malay voice-over for the High School Musical Series for Disney Channel and also for the film "Jumbo Gajah Biru".

In 2010, Mila launched several singles such as 'Jika Kau Ubah Fikiran', 'Menanti' and 'Kau dan Aku' in conjunction with the 'Kau dan Aku' drama series. After a year with Astro Entertainment, she decided to move herself under her own record company, MJ Panacea Records and MJ Panacea Records manage to release her 2nd Solo Album "MILA JIRIN" with Local Distributer.

Her record company MJ Panacea Records in collaboration with the BGM Music (incorporated in London United Kingdom) releasing her 1st English album, in January 2012 Mila Jirin will officially launch the 1st Single "Breakdown"

In 2011, Mila Jirin representing Malaysia to the International Pop TV Performer (Golden Talent) at Batumi, Georgia and she has Won the 4th place from the 23 participant from Europe,Middle east and Asia.
