Vishwajeet started taking lessons in music at an early age under the guidance of his father Milind Borwankar.

With a supportive musical background Vishwajeet was introduced to the intricacies in talim under guru-shishya parampara by Dr. Ram Deshpande, who is one of the leading Vocalists of today’s generation and a torch bearer of Hindustani Shastriya Sangeet. Vishwajeet was under his guidance for a good eight years in which he obtained a great control on Gwalior gayaki. Vishwajeet received rigourous talim of Gwalior Gharana during this period.

Currently, he is taking talim from PT. Babanrao haldankar a stalwart in agra gharana since last four years.

With such a prolific classical background, vishwajeet entered the ZEE MARATHI SA RE GA MA PA …AND EMERGED AS A WINNER ….
