FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN MORE DETAILS...(full bio)...
Cian began studying dance at the age of two and immediately fell in love with performing. By the time she was ten, in addition to studying ballet, tap, jazz and acro, Cian started performing in local theatre shows and vocal competitions. She then added voice and acting classes to her schedule. Her mom made all of her costumes. Her dad joined her onstage for vocal competitions and a couple theatre shows as well. With the constant support of her family, Cian was able to continue following her passion and performed in her first professional theatre show in junior high school, playing a Munchkin and Flying Monkey (yes, she got to fly!!) in the Pittsburgh CLO production of THE WIZARD OF OZ. Cian was cast in over twenty local theatre shows by the time she was accepted to the University of Michigan, where she eventually graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre. While attending college, during the summertime, Cian began singing with her father's rock band. After graduation, she moved to New York City for a short time, where she landed three national tours of the musicals; ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, SOUTH PACIFIC, and SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. "SNF" eventually got picked up for a six-month run in Las Vegas. After SNF’s closing, Cian joined the cast of WE WILL ROCK YOU at the Paris Casino in Las Vegas. During it's run, she joined selected fellow classmates to sing on THE TONIGHT SHOW, singing backups for American Idol's Constantine. In 2011, Cian played Maureen in RENT at Green Valley Ranch Casino in Las Vegas for RagTag Productions and also sang the Lead Vocalist role in BITE at the Stratosphere Casino. In 2012, one of the bands Cian performs with, Brazen, won the award for “Best Rock Band” at the Vegas Rocks Magazine Awards. In 2013, Cian was thrilled to be asked by Todd Kerns (bass player for Slash and The Conspirators) to sing backup on his acoustic album, "Borrowing Trouble". Also that year, she appeared on "A Sinner's Christmas 2" album, singing a duet of "Blue Christmas" with Sin City Sinner Michael "Doc" Ellis. …In addition to singing in bands, Cian has also appeared in several local commercials and also appears in the print ad for DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN at Harrah’s Casino. When not touring with Meat Loaf, Cian performs the female lead role at RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT at the Tropicana Casino in Las Vegas, and she also sings lead vocals with the Las Vegas Strip bands Brazen and Rock This Town. She has also recently recorded tracks for the new rock and roll attire company DevilStar.

Press:

"This girl could sing all the challenging parts in these Zappa tunes. Her looks were deceiving. She appears to be a lovely demure little thing, but belts out vocals like Janis Joplin or Grace Slick with all the soul of Aretha Franklin."
Nick McCabe - Tahoe Onstage

"Cian Coey was unbelievable, gave me goose bumps. ..."
Jack B - TripAdvisor

"the bacon mac and cheese, the creamy mashed potatoes covered in piping hot gravy, is the performance of Cian Coey. ...She must come from a theatrical background, because every step, every motion was a precise and perfect calculation. And her voice was phenomenal."
Jason Bryan - Festivals & Gigs

"Coey breathed new life into the second song. Her interpretation entranced the audience."
Ted Hansen - Examiner

"When cheerleader Coey bounded out onto stage, it was no longer cold and lonely in the deep dark night. It was smoldering. It wasn’t just Meat Loaf that was ready to love her until the end of time. Coey time and again brought the heat."
Ted Hansen - Examiner

"dominating, sexy female...could have any man groveling under the dashboard light."
Robin Leach - Las Vegas Sun

"The show wakes up whenever Cian Coey...arrives on the scene. Here's an actress who knows how to create a character who "owns" her songs and dialogue. Her comedic abilities and sharp-edged voice bring flesh and blood..."
Anthony Del Valle - Las Vegas Review Journal
