Biography:

At just 19 years old, Shalea is a singer-songwriter from the Bronx, NewYork, with a
passion and talent for music that began in childhood. Rarely do you find an artist who
can sing, write and arrange music so skillfully, but Shalea does it all.
"Hip Hop Soul is what I like to call my music. It's R&B with a twist—
some new school with a little bit of old school," Shalea says of her music.
This artist shows her amazing vocal range from silky smoothe rifts to belted out ad-libs
in her songs. "Singing is definitely about what sounds good, but it's also
important to know what feels good in your soul. If it doesn't feel good
when you sing it, chances are it won't sound good. I have to feel it in
order to sing it."
"I want to go down in history as someone who made a difference and
my greatest accomplishment would be to do it using my talent." Shalea's
