Biography:

Born Julie Atieno Ochieng to a loving middle class family of 6, Juliet's early childhood bliss was interrupted by the demise of her father while she was 12 and later her resilient mum while aged 16. Forced to become independent early on, she quickly learnt to hold her own destiny in life.
Fueled by an undying passion for the arts and fearless nature, Juliet boarded a bus with her musician cousin Jerry joe, and headed for the concrete jungle that is Nairobi from her hometown Kisumu. Life wasn’t easy for Juliet and though she had to live with friends, her believe in her ability to succeed never died. She began modeling making various appearances in shows at various towns and later working for Suzazuri. Her unquenchable drive soon won her recognition in the modeling industry and after a Miss World Kenya tryout in 2004, Juliet won the prestigious Miss World Kenya title and went on to represent Kenya at the Miss World Pageant in China. She won hearts at the pageant, and was ranked among the most beautiful women in the world and the sexiest woman in Africa 2004.
Juliet utilized her new found fame to give back to society working and supporting various charities that helped out orphaned children, who are close to her heart. Not one to bask in past glory, Juliet soon expanded her portfolio making star appearances in tv commercials and the reknowned TV Series “Be The Judge”.
Now embarking on a musical career, Juliet seeks to breathe new life to the Kenyan music scene. Her debut release “Ni kweli” is a captivating, lyrically rich and inspiring Afro Fusion song that gives the audience a glimpse into the eventful journey of Juliet’s life thus far.
