Biography:

Alpha Rwirangira is a Rwandese born on 25th May, 1986 in Geita town, Mwanza Region, Tanzania. He took his primary education at Nyabohanse primary school in Kenya (1997-1999) and later at Omukarilo Primary school (2000-2002) in Karagwe district, Kagera Region, Tanzania where he completed standard 7 primary school education. When his parents left for Rwanda in 2002, Alpha joined APRED Ndera Secondary school in Rwanda and did his sixth year secondary education majoring in Physics and Mathematics (2003-2008).
Alpha has shown passion to music since he was a small child and his music talent flourished progressively as he grew up at school and particularly in church choirs where he worships regularly. In the endeavor to explore music talents for youngsters in East Africa, in July 2009 a team of Kenya based East Africa Breweries company went around through four East African countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda) searching for potential young musicians to be supported in developing their music talent. Alpha Rwirangira was among the three people who represented Rwanda in the Tusker Project Fame music talent competition held in Nairobi Kenya. Alpha participated in the two month TPF3 music academy through which he encountered a series of renditions, auditions and survived evictions. In October, 2009 Alpha came up to the TPF3 finals and emerged the winner of EABL’s prestigious “Tusker Project Fame 3”, the music competition that involved 15 participants representing the 4 East African Countries and was awarded several prizes. Thereafter, Alpha has won a few more regional music awards including the Uganda PAM award for 2010 Rwanda best male artist. Alpha has
