Joe Meade, of Omega Sevyn, a preacher's son, started singing as a young child in church and later with his families' Gospel group. As a child he toured California occasionally with his family and a gospel quartet called "The Regents." Joe also started playing drums for the family band. When Joe was approximately 18, he formed an electronic band called "Synthetic Black" in Lakewood, California in 1987 with keyboardist Jeff Reed. In 1999, The band's name was changed to "Omega Seven" in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Band was split up later in 1999. Joe started the band again in early 2007, in the Los Angeles area. The name of the band was changed to "Omega Sevyn" in 2007 for uniqueness. Omega Sevyn relocated to Camas, Washington on December 24th, 2010, the Seattle area on January 17th, 2012, and then to Crowley, Texas on August 5th, 2021. Joe writes the lyrics, creates/performs the music, rhythm, vocals, and produces the tracks in full.
