About the Artist

In the summer of storms, brothers Günter and Jürgen Rivera, calling themselves RISE, released six songs on MySpace http://www.myspace.com/riseofficial and soon after began releasing songs through ReverbNation https://www.reverbnation.com/officialRISE as well. They quickly garnered many loyal and excited fans with their hard driving, unique, and passionate sound. RISE fans seem to run the gamut from devotees of doom metal and stoner rock to lovers of grunge and classic 70’s hard rock. Late 2009 saw the release of the album “SEER” (a compilation of songs they had released over the year online plus two brand new tracks) as a free download on PureVolume http://www.purevolume.com/officialRISE and was met with ravenous response. The song “Earth X” from that same album was featured on the then extremely popular Doom Metal Alliance Records profile http://www.myspace.com/doommetalunion where it held the #1 spot with the most plays for several weeks. In 2011 came their highly anticipated all new album entitled "POWER EDICTS", which was later picked up for distribution by Ozium Records of Sweden. Summer of 2015 brought the long awaited new album "HAUNTED MOUNTAIN" on their own label Earth X Records.
