Diane Cameron is a writer, teacher, and speaker. Her newspaper columns appear in The Albany Times Union and in The Baltimore Sun, Philadelphia Inquirer, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, and many other publications. She is also the author of two blogs: 'Love in the Time of Cancer' about cancer and caregiving, and 'Out of the Woods' about women in recovery. Last year Out of the Woods became a book - Cameron's second. Her first book, Looking for Signs was a collection of her columns and essays. She has won many writing awards, and her essays on military trauma have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
