About the Artist

35 year old DJ/Producer from New York Formerly known as 'Noxious, Nkryptd has been involved in music for 21 years; Classically trained with Guitar, Bass, Cello, Viola, Violin and the Double-Bass, he sets himself apart from rest. After performing in Virginia Beach for 2 years, playing historic venues in front of sold out crowds at Peabody's Nightclub, Granby Theater and The Norva, Nkryptd set his sights abroad proceeding onto rural Michigan before heading to Atlanta.

In November 2013, Nkryptd began working with Warehouse Party and RaveATL for their monthly underground events after winning an online poll for a spot on the show. After establishing himself as a resident of the franchise, Nkryptd was offered Tuesday nights at a local venue called Kaleidoscape, which has since been torn down, showing rookie DJs the basics of working live shows with multiple stages & how to spin without the aide of a laptop utilizing his own Gemini CDMP-7000 as a teaching tool.

At the same time, as an ABC licensed-DJ in the state of Georgia, he worked gigs at various adult entertainment clubs to make ends meet as well as functioning as a contributor to the VULGAR series run by Crude Carter, helping them promote local shows in the 706. Fast forward six years; projects included National shows to spotlight local artists in various cities at The Honeycomb Hideout (fb.com/TheOfficialHoneycombHideout), founded by Nkryptd during his work in Virginia Beach along with collaborating efforts among allied local contributors to bring life back to the underground scene with energy from ATL to other EDM-hotspots across the country, specifically on Big Island & neighboring island Maui of Hawai'i.

Despite shows sabotaged in Hawai'i, Nkryptd dominated the islands to finish out 2020 strong, flying back to the mainland as state champ of Hawai'i and regional champ of the Pacific Theater 2018-2020. Breaking #1 in D.C. before spring 2022, Nkryptd continues to make the most original electronic music in the United States as an Underground artist. On July 15th, 2022, Nkryptd released his first album, COLD ROPES EP, as a free download including hard-hitting songs like RED and DISHONORED CATHEDRAL.

The album was independently produced on location in Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Hawai'i. Specializing in House, Trap, Moombah & Drum n Bass, Nkryptd brings an original blend of the hottest electronic music along with a stage presence that can not be duplicated. Artists seeking collaboration efforts should seek the same means of contact as booking agents.
