Nicole Christian is a little folk, a little roots, and a lot bottle-neck blues. While playing solo, as a duo with Alfie Smith or as a full band, Nicole’s unique brand of all-original, home-grown blues is guaranteed to put a little twang in your heart and some tap in your toes.
Nicole's newest release, Run Rabbit Run, was voted the Best Debut Roots and Blues Album of 2010 award by the Underground Blues Network. It is currently available at www.cdbaby.com/nicolechristian and through CD Baby's affiliates.
Nicole was nominated as a finalist in the Toronto Blues Society's Talent Search for three Hamilton Music Awards in 2011 and was recently nominated for a Hamilton Arts Award alongside her drummer, Dave Gould. She currently plays primarily throughout Ontario as a duo with Alfie Smith.
