I'm a North Carolina artist, and I call myself Alternative, mainly because I don't really cater to one genre; yet I also don't think my sound and style are very common right now. I've been writing and recording music for a long time. In 2002, a song of mine was featured on a "New Music" compilation cd, and that same year, I placed third in a contest held in Durham, NC (the contest featured mostly rap and r&b acts, but I earned that honor with a solo rock song). I've been in several bands throughout the years, the most prominent of which was a pop punk band called The Manics, which ran from 2006 to 2010. My songs have been featured on WKNC and SongReviewNow.com. My influences vary greatly, running the gamut between different genres. I'm constantly trying to get my songs out there, recording and releasing, one by one.
