My Sweet Torment is a melodic metal band rocking since 2004. The records are conceptual works which brings you to an other level. Follow the story through the lyrics, play the songs and let the torment encroach your veins...
Our first EP “Entering the darkness” was launched, which later result on the album Electrocardiogram. After the release of our first album "Electrocardiogram" , we realized that our ability to compose and our music preferences could went through new frontiers that previously could not have succeeded.
Little by little we changed the style to avoid being monotonous and repetitive and finally reached our own distinctive style within the metal, becoming more elaborate and complete. This constant change has given the group twists giving way to the EP as "The Last Sunrise" (with the contribution of more female voices).
The band´s current direction is characterized by the combination of our very beginnings and the integration of deep and meaningful symphonies and orchestrations, with the introduction of a new melodic female voice. All together has given on to the album "Seven”.
After the European Tour 2011, My Sweet Torment has changed some peolple on the band, giving birth to The Last Beating Heart on 2012. The symphonies and orchestrations are still one of the most meaningful parts of the compositions of the group, and the new female voice gives to the group a new personality keeping the spirit of My Sweet Torment.
After some band changes, we keep working on studio, releasing in 2018 The Last Beating Heart Sense edition, an instrumental album to listen while read our story. On year later with new female voices we released our last album, TLBH the remake.
