“PEORIA – Sept. 29, 2009 – From 7 to 9 pm on Saturday, Oct. 24th, longtime Phoenix folk and gospel musician Howard Faltz will perform at Peoria’s Java Grounds Coffee House, 8385 W. Deer Valley Rd. The performance benefits St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. Guests attending the performance will have several opportunities to assist the Valley-based Food Bank – all tips and a generous portion of all register receipts during the performance will be presented to St. Mary’s. In addition, guests are encouraged to make cash donations as well as donate non-perishable food and household items at the performance. “I am always looking for ways to benefit the community through my music,” Faltz said. “I’m closely associated with St. Mary’s, and with the economy being what it is, it just seemed like a great time to hold a benefit on their behalf.” ”
