Amanda Kay bridging Jazz and Folk with a taste of Latin and her sultry vocals complimented with skilful guitar will be joined by the up and coming local Brad Luttrell on saxophone to celebrate International Jazz Day at Smith's Alternative.
A night of celebrating women song writers. Amanda will be performing a set of her latest tunes, with the Latin and world music influences she has picked up in the last year, and a few of her crowd pleasing jazzy folk songs from earlier albums. If you love live music and talented musical women this is the place to be.
World Cassowary Day will feature a day of education and celebration of the endangered Cassowaries. Amanda Kay will be performing. We are also writing a song about cassowaries so come and donate some lyrics and be part of this fun project. The event goes from 10am-3pm.
