Have a drink ya bastards – an Irish-Celtic-Punk-Rock dish
Preparation time: up to 120 minutes · Severity: Heavy Weight
Take 10 bottles of whiskey, two six-packs of Murphy’s and a crate of Guinness. Add an extensive collection of Irish and Celtic songs from all over the world and mix it with classic rock instruments such as tin whistles, pipes, banjo, mandolin, mandola and accordion.
Now throw in nine slightly crazy guys, preferably all on stage at the same time, turn up the heat and cook the whole thing on any stage for up to 120 minutes.
The result?
A sweat-soaked Irish-Celtic-Punk-Rock party that is second to none. A challenge for every loudspeaker membrane, a workout for every dance floor and a crowd in front of – and sometimes even on – the stage that demands everything from the band and gives everything back.
Forget contemplative shanties and gentle seafaring songs.
This is not background music. This is Irish-Celtic-Punk-Rock at full throttle!
Here they come:
