Q: i'm wondering how you derived your name?

A: Thanks for asking... when I first started to rhyme in cyphers and whatnot in the late 1980's, people called me "Chill Bill". After some time I got some new glasses and one dude dubbed me "Professor Chill". I went with that for a number of years, then shortened it to "P Chill". In 2002, after a breif downtome where I was not very active with music, I added the Mr. to the front of it as a symbol of maturity that I was trying to reflect with my lyrics at that time. That is the long and the short of it! Thanks for your question! -Mr. P Chill
