mOXIE mOTIVE is an evolving, independent multimedia ecosystem that fuses heavy ambient post-rock, high-production cinematic anime, and underground physical curation into a single immersive world. Created and produced by Matthew Nurse, the project explores consciousness, ancient lore, and multi-dimensional storytelling.
Fresh off the album Chakra Supernova, the project just launched Starstone Saga: The Eternal Lives of Keket — a 13-minute original anime music video featuring five remastered favorite tracks, paired with a massive guerrilla QR code sticker campaign hitting 100 spots across Denver on the 4/20 weekend.
The next chapter is already here. The new album Seed Nova pushes deeper into bass-and-drum territory — a rocking, hypnotic, cinematic fusion Nurse describes as “think Spoon meets Tame Impala and Hans Zimmer, dancing in a pyramid.”
Right now mOXIE mOTIVE is the collaboration between Matthew Nurse and violinist Stephanie Lee, whose expressive strings add new layers of beauty and depth.
This is music for anyone ready to hunt demons, chase the light, and feel fully alive.
