I am Glenda Jackson and I am an ordained Evangelist/Minister who lives in Bloomington, IL. I am also a singer-songwriter who writes Praise & Worship/Contemporary Christian Gospel songs to the glory of God.
I am a retired mother of 2 adult children and grandmother of four. I started writing songs in 2009, when the Lord woke me up early one morning and gave me a song; since then I've been learning about and developing my new-found gift of songwriting. I have been singing on praise & worship teams at churches for over 25 years.
My songs are very spiritual yet contemporary and encompass a wide range of genres. Even more amazing is the fact that I don't play any instruments and I only write songs by inspiration of the Holy Spirit so I'm excited to see God revealed in these songs and happy to share them with the world.
I started my own music publishing company, GMJ MUSIC PUBLISHING CO. in 2012 and am learning new things about songwriting and the music business every day.
My songs are available for purchase on Broadjam.com, iTunes, Reverbnation.com, Spotify and Amazon.com.
