Mike started out at the young age of 8 years old playing the tenor ukelele along with his parents. Mom on the baritone ukelele and dad on guitar having family sing alongs. Got into his first band at 16. He has traveled the country playing shows from New York to Arizona. Mike had the pleasure of jamming with both the great blues man Muddy Waters as well as the rock icon Chubby Checker. He has fronted a number of local bands both back home in Illinois and in Arizona over the years whether they were Rock, Blues, or Country bands. He also has opened shows for David Allen Coe as well as Shelly Wright back in the 80’s. Music runs in his blood and he has often said he wont quit until they pry his guitar from his cold, dead hands! LOL Mike does all he can to make sure the audience has a great time at any event!
