Michael Cash – Biography Michael Cash is an American worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, producer, and speaker based in Pleasure Ridge Park, Louisville, Kentucky. Worship is at the heart of everything he does. Michael believes God has called him to use his musical gifts to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage believers, and reach those who have yet to experience the saving grace found in Christ. While he is best known for his acoustic-driven worship and singer-songwriter style, he also enjoys performing a wide variety of music that connects with audiences through honest lyrics, heartfelt storytelling, and memorable melodies. Since entering the Louisville music scene in 2003, Michael has built a diverse career as both a solo artist and a member of the Michael Cash Band, CCJ Project, and LITTLE FISH. Throughout his career, he has performed at venues across the United States and shared the stage with nationally recognized artists including Sevendust, Shinedown, Pop Evil, Filter, Black Veil Brides, Fuel, Saliva, Candlebox, Mushroomhead, Taproot, Tantric, P.O.D., Stephen Pearcy (RATT), Steven Adler, Dizzy Reed, FLAW, and many others. Michael's music has also reached television audiences through placements on MTV, VH1, E! News, and other national programming. His songs have been featured on shows including Teen Cribs, Is She Really Going Out With Him, When I Was Seventeen, Brooke Knows Best, Tough Love, Denise Richards: It's Complicated, WCG Ultimate Gamer, 101 Favorite Stars from Way Back Then, Insanely Pampered Hollywood Dogs, and additional television specials. His recording career includes the 2013 mixtape AFTER ME, which reached No. 15 on the U.S. Top Rock Albums chart. He later released the studio album Don't Quit, featuring the songs "Perfect Dream" and his cover of "Cumbersome," further establishing his reputation as an independent recording artist. In 2021, Michael stepped away from the mainstream music industry to devote his life more fully to serving the Lord Jesus Christ through worship, evangelism, discipleship, and outreach. Today, his ministry extends far beyond music. His passion is to proclaim the Gospel, strengthen the Church, and create worship experiences where people can encounter the presence of the Holy Spirit through healing, restoration, salvation, and renewed faith in Jesus Christ. Michael has ministered through churches, conferences, mission events, festivals, recovery ministries, and community outreach programs, sharing the hope of Christ with audiences of all sizes.
