Charlie’s Dub Corner is a soundsystem party that happens every year during Austin Reggae Fest, organized by McPullish and his label Charlie’s Records. This soundsystem party runs all 3 days during Austin Reggae Festival and showcases some of the finest selectors, DJs and vocalists working in reggae and related genres throughout Texas, nationally and internationally. With their heavyweight sound system, Charlie’s Dub Corner brings roots, dub, dancehall, rocksteady, ska and many other musical flavors to this annual party. McPullish has been actively releasing music on his Charlie’s Records label since 2005 and been based in Austin since 2007, with 28 releases to date, including collaborations between McPullish and Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Chezidek, Sylford Walker, General Smiley, Tippa Irie, Murray Man, Linval Thompson, Mark Wonder, Judge, Jahn TI, Island Rose and many more. The 2014 edition of Charlie’s Dub Corner will feature a live dub performance (DUBSTRAVAGANJA) on Saturday, April 19 by McPullish and Judge along with artists and musicians that have appeared on Charlie’s Records releases, plus some very special surprise guests.
