Matt Hybarger is a gospel singer, worship leader, and songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas, celebrating five decades of music and concert ministry. Drawing from years of pastoral and preaching experience, he crafts songs that speak directly to people walking through pain, loss, and fresh starts. His debut project “When Life Gets Broken” features collaborations with Russ Lee, Michael O’Brien, Clay Crosse, David & the Giants, Sandi Patty, and others, carrying a consistent message of hope in Jesus for real‑world struggles like abuse, addiction, grief, and failure. Based in the Fort Worth, Texas area, he has served in pastoral ministry for 15 years and now devotes much of his time to traveling, preaching, and singing in churches, conferences, and special events. Since 1987, he has performed with and written for respected Christian artists including Gary McSpadden, Steve Archer, Michael O’Brien, Clay Crosse, David & the Giants, and Sandi Patty.[2][3][4][5][8] Matt’s debut project, “When Life Gets Broken,” captures the heart of his ministry: taking on difficult subjects like abuse, addiction, divorce, grief, and disappointment, and pointing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
