I am basically a songwriter, so I generally sing and play my music but I play guitar and other instruments too (bouzouki, harmonica) in some bands, like the multiethnic Orchestra di Porta Palazzo, the irish-breton music band called Malartan and the acoustic trio Singin' Torino.
I don’t like definitions or subdivions in musical genres. I like so many different artists, from classic to rock! I adore Neil Young but I adore Debussy too.
If you want to know something about someone’s music, just listen to it. You don’t need nothing else.
Maybe, the best thing they’ve written about me is that my music is “slightly out of time, or rather without time”.
Could I ask more than this?
I like to speak about different landscapes, don’t matters if they are invented or real.
I like minimal sound, because music needs silence too, needs to breath.
I like guitar sound and It’s very hard for me write music without it, classic or folk or electric. I can’t sing without keeping in my hands something that has 6 strings
I like to write about people who has not a voice to speak, who doesn’t conform.
I think that people today has a very great need to share places, sounds, words, evene if maybe they don’t know it
