Influenced by the greats of country, rock, and blues, Marc developed his own twangy melodic sound. After touring as a sideman for country artists throughout the 90s, Marc moved to Point Washington Florida in 2001 where his creativity and songwriting flourished. Marc’s trademark sound of ‘southern surf’ was born on the gulf coast and continues to influence his music today.
Marc’s music has been used on E-TV, and he can be seen performing solo or with his band Mojo Rising, throughout the South. The Athens Flag Pole referred to Harris’ music as “Guitar Strong Modern Rock,” while the Destin Beachcomber described it as “The best kind of singer-songwriter material- intelligent, well crafted, and accessible to twang lovers and haters alike.” The Birmingham weekly aptly called Marc’s music “A Mix of Renegade Country and Beach Tinged Tunes.”
