Malajunta jazz is a fusion jazz-rock-latin oriented group. with a touch of retro from the bands we all love, like Return to Forever, Wheater Report , Headhunters, Tony Williams's Lifetime and else. The band started in 2009 playing songs from groups and musicians we enyoyed listening to and then we turned to our own composition. This first proyect entitled El Dorado was recorded in 2010 at Jazzmania Studios in Caracas for Carijazz Records. The band members are: Eiter "Kiko" Gonzalez on Percusion, Gerardo Lopez on Drums, Leonel Ruiz on Keyboards, Giovanni Ramirez on Bass, Rodolfo Reyes on Tenor Sax and Roldan Peña on Guitars.
