Q: So what kind of synthesizers do you use?

A: That is the question I get the most. Most people don't seem to like the answer I give them though. All synth sounds I use are from soft synths. Either from some of the top ipad apps like, Thor, Sunrizer, Nlog, Arturia iSem, and such. For solo sections I use more expressive synths like Animoog, Geo Synth, and have even used Bebot. Don't get me wrong, I do have an actual Casio synth, but I mainly use it for having the larger range of keys, so it basically is just a large midi controller. I also use a small midi keyboard for soft synths that are contained within my DAW or controlling vsts. I have found over the years it is not the synth used that matters but how you mix and master it, into the songs. So play whatever synth you really like and then eq and master it to sound like what you want, is the best advice I can give on synths. Thx for asking and I hope my answer was helpful to others.:)
