Q: Where do you find your inspiration? Other musicians, other artforms, nature?

A: I find musical excellence utterly inspiring, be it in the mastering of ones instruments (as with Eric Dolphy), or by sheer musicality coming through in their writing (as with Stravinsky or Varese). I also find myself drawn to patterns, regularities/irreguarities, mathematics and logic. My "Pendulum vehicle" for instance is just one way - or method rather - of getting past the boredom of traditional chord changes. A way I found suggested by the "Pendulum Waves" video thats been viral for a while. So... Inspiration, it's just one of those things I find everywhere and in anything. / LoFiLeif
