This ethereal singer/songwriter released her critically acclaimed EP "Songs Of Amergan" in 2017. Her work has appeared in film and television, and she has collaborated with such artists as The Hidden Cameras, Owen Pallet, Brother Love Canal, and Kelly and the Kellygirls. Audiences across North America have experienced her electrifying performances with the acclaimed Classic Albums Live concert series, where she holds status as their "First Lady."

Leslea grew up on B.C.'s fabled Saltspring Island. Initially, she was sent to a speech therapist to address a chronic stutter, where her vocal gift was discovered and encouraged. During these formative years she was exposed to a multitude of musical styles and tastes, and it wasn't long before she began to write and compose her own songs.
As her study of music grew more serious, and her vocal range and power became more apparent, Leslea was encouraged to become an operatic soprano. Unfortunately, while escaping an attempted sexual assault, she suffered a broken nose and cheekbones, cutting short any chance of a classical singing career. It was during rehabilitative vocal coaching that she began to explore world music and ethnic singing styles.
Leslea approached music with a renewed vigor, breaking free from conventional musical tradition and combining exotic ornamentation with modern rock and pop forms. Moving to Toronto, Leslea was quickly embraced by its indie-rock scene, where her unique singing style and thought provoking lyrics have attracted a wide, varied and devoted following.
When not making and performing music, or working at her "Day-Job" in Film Locations, Leslea is a writer, journalist, and devoted Wiccan practitioner and Witch. She is an advocate for the rights of those who suffer from Mental Illness and Addiction, having had a personal history with both. She is also trying to help abolish the stigma surrounding "Neuro-Diverse" Adults, being herself a proud member of the Asperger's Community. Leslea believes music can be a tool to heal, educate, and bring fundamentally disparate communities together in joy and transcendence.
