Lee Mays, aka Percy Mays, is a world-renowned and legendary singer, songwriter, and producer whose music has been heard by millions of people around the world. In 1976, Mr. Mays recorded his now famous self-released vinyl album, “Shine Your Love." In 1977, the title song, "Shine Your Love", was released as a single on Word Records by The Cruse Family. That song contributed to the Cruse Family winning the Dove Award for "Best Album of the Year" in 1978. The enormous popularity of Lee's songs began with the arrival of the Internet in the 1990s. By the end of 2021, the videos of the full album had over 13 million views on YouTube. Over the years, Lee's "Shine Your Love" album has become a highly sought-after record for vinyl enthusiasts in book stores, record shops, and on Internet auction websites. In December 2014, Mr. Mays released the "Real Love" compact disc. The 13 songs on the "Real Love" CD contain a blend of smooth and romantic jazz sounds with a R&B/Soul flare. In 2014, the single "Give Me Another Chance" featuring Fulton Turnage, was among the top 30 songs of the year in the UK at Global Soul Radio Station. From 2015 to 2022, Lee enjoyed tremendous success on the stages of the most prestigious jazz clubs in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Belarus, Italy, and the USA. Lee has appeared on Radiotelevisione italiana (RAI) and Lazio TV and currently has one Italian feature film and three Italian short films in which his music can be heard. In 2022 and 2023, Lee's songs won awards for Best Original Score at four separate film festivals including in Amsterdam, Calcutta, and Dubai.
