Larry Potillo

New Jersey native Larry Potillo, is a self taught independent keyboardist who holds a passion for jazz. He's recorded his original tracks for The soul purpose of creating relaxing Music, that’s slightly off the genre of the traditional styles we're use to hearing. Larry publicly has never played in any bands or groups. But he found an strong interest in creating layered recording using one instrument to complete his songs. In 2008 his rare tracks first received notice from CBS Interactive “Last FM” Located in the UK. The organization presented his music to many venues, for the opportunity to be heard by the public. As his music started to progress. The professional question was asked, and is asked of anyone who’s new to the music scene,” Who do you sound like?” This would cause Larry to cringe and openly say; “I sound like myself!” This isn’t the answer a distributor or an interested party wants to hear when comparing an artist to the great players of jazz. But it was a true statement and from the heart. To date Larry has five indie jazz released album to his credit.
