Kymberlee O'Brien is a jazz vocalist based in the Boston area, performing standards and modern songs across an unusually wide range — Ella Fitzgerald and Diana Krall alongside Sade, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, and the occasional John Prine — each reshaped in her own phrasing rather than delivered straight.
A songwriter as well as an interpreter, she builds sets that read a room rather than run a fixed list, moving between intimate ballads and uptempo standards as the night calls for it. She performs solo with keyboard, equally at home in listening rooms, at markets and festivals, and at private events.
Her 2024 album *Lost Mind* showcases that range, and her original song "Love Is Gonna Do Another Day" earned a ballot placement for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. She performs regularly across eastern Massachusetts.
