Welcome to KOL productions. KOL standing for Keeper Of Light. My name is Sean I am a music producer as well as a freelance drummer/independent artist who writes instrumental music for TV, radio, and movie productions. I work with many different genres and like to push the creative musical envelope by bringing a melting pot of genres together. You could say it is sort of a groove rhythmic stew that's good for the soul. So do your ears a favor queue up my tracks and give them a listen. You are sure to find feet taping along. Music is my life and I find rhythm in everything. Many of my instrumental works are inspired by rhythms I hear while spending time in nature camping or hiking. There is inspiration everywhere you just have to know how to find it. These are all original works from KOL productions. I have been a musician for over 30 years. I am the son of a piano teacher so naturally the first instrument I started on was the piano. This has given me a good foundation when working with other instruments. I then went on to learn the drums and pretty much all percussion instruments. I was in the drum-line for my Jr High and High School Marching bands. I have also played percussion in various symphony bands including a community symphony band at Jackson Community College where I was on full-ride music scholarship. While on scholarship, I also played in the Jazz Swing band and various Jazz/Fusion Combos. Besides my own experimental music productions, I also enjoy bringing other bands to my studio set up to record them. I am willing to record and work with artists of any genre. My digital tracking studio has been built to be mobile and is capable of live performance recording as well as fully isolated recording with individual musician monitor mixes. The production studio is capable of putting any kind of instrumentation backing that you can dream. The only limitation is your imagination. We use Reason software to produce our instrumentation backings. In my opinion Reason is one of the best audio sequencing software platforms in the game.
