Ms. Conley sat in as a judge for the Kansas City Blues Society - Blues Challenge at KnuckleHeads in KC, MO.. From 2011-2013, Ms. Conley was special music guest on the KC-Live TV Morning Show in KC, MO. In 2012, Koko performed twice on stage with Kansas City Blues Music Legend, the late EUGENE SMILEY Sr+.
[Artist History] From 1990 to 1992, Ms Conley hosted "Koko's Korner", a variety cable tv show, filmed live inside (the then) Maxie's Restaurant & Lounge inside the Holiday Inn Resort Hotel in Madeira Beach, Fl. In the early 80's, Koko was Lead Vocalist for A Piece of The Action Band with keyboardist, Doc Moore. They performed regularly through out the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
With her band, Koko and The Kappachinos, Ms Conley performed in Kansas City and in Las Vegas, Nevada. In Tampa Bay, Florida, Charleston, SC, Boston, Mass, New York City, Lake Tahoe, CA, Bullhead City, AZ., and in both Kansas & Missouri. She performed regular shows with her keyboardist, Doc Moore+.
In the mid 70's, Koko Conley was a backup singer for 'The Rahni Harris Trio'. A R&B Gospel singing group out of Hartford Ct. Ms. Conley performed with Rahni Harris from 1976 through 1978. Harris is better known today as Rahni Song owner & Producer of, Y3K Music. Ms Conley performed with Mr Harris throughout Hartford Ct., Rhode Island and New York! With Rahni, Koko co/wrote and recorded a contemporary Christian song titled, 'I've Got A Fantastic High'. Although never released nationwide, 'I've Got A Fantastic High' received extended airplay throughout the entire N. E. coast.
