About the Artist

KIMBERLY Yoakum, is a young but dedicated singer/performer,although born in Illinois, she was raised in the South, "Northern by birth, Southern by choice". Though she has spent most of her childhood and teen years around the Houston area, she spent a few years residing in the Nashville area too. Kimberly has been singing since the young age of 3, then at the age of 7 after visiting w/CREED,Scott Stapp encouraged her to follow her dream and become a singer, she is now in pursuit of that dream. Kimberly has performed at various venues in and around the Houston area, including Gilley's w/Keith Gilley, and is now in the Nashville area to further pursue her career.....since being here in Nashville, she has performed at the Hard Rock, Nashville Palace, festivals, radio etc. She is often compared with such greats as , Patsy Cline, Carrie Underwood, and Crystal Gayle, this comes from having such a strong full range voice. Whatever the situation or venue, Kimberly will put 100% into her performance......Once you hear her beautiful voice and see her incredible stage presence you will want more.
