KMR is Linda Kanter, saxes, Hamilton Mays , bass and Gerry Rempel, guitar. KMR has been performing together for a number of years playing wineries, clubs and special events.
As a Trio, KMR brings a fresh vibe to jazz standards both familiar and lesser known as well as originals. The tunes offer Swing, Latin, and Pop and a brush with Blues, along with original compositions.
These three bring years of performance and recording experience, along with education and composition. Linda, Gerry and Hamilton are seasoned pros. Each has performed in many different genres and ensembles, as well as venues large and intimate.
KMR provides a vibrant out-front performance OR an atmospheric presence for any event or venue.
KMR also enjoys opportunities to perform as a quartet with drums.
