About the Artist

Rock with a little folk weave. Their mission travels deep with heartfelt testimony of life's transformation to uplifting messages. Some say they sound like the Indigo Girls, due to their tapestry of harmonies, glistening guitars and melodic soul of the piano. Individually their vocals stand out with undeniable presence of soul. Put them together and you know without a doubt, they are matched by pure intention of something greater. These two have a universal message in their songs that speaks of truth, that will inspire you to the depth of your heart and soul. "Music is our passion and love, our God given mission for our lives. We want to share our love and our testimony of our transformation from ego driven to spirit driven life, in hopes of helping others get closer to living a more spiritual life. We can't think of anything we'd rather do and feel so honored and blessed to have the privilege of your interest." Having moved back to Flint, MI area after 13 years in Paducah, KY, where Kim spent 6 years as Director of Music and a member of the praise and worship band, where she met Cj. The two plan on taking their music ministry on the road. As a duet or with a full band, they would love to come and share their music with you! Our greatest passion is singing our own songs. The last 2 recordings have spoke to us on so many levels prophesying the things we thought our listeners needed to hear. But turns out we needed to hear too. How ironic is that! Out Forth Album “I Will Not Be Shaken” a 10 song album which will drop next month April 15, 2022. This album features Free2B Music Ministries, with Kim French, Cj Short, Wendy Mai & Sheila Brown. It will be available everywhere digital music is sold all over the world. Amazon, Apple Music to name a few. French Co-Producing her 4th with Cj Short & Wendy Mai. “I Will Not Be Shaken”, 2022. The 3rd album EP with Producer Kim French & Corey Evettes in Paducah, KY, 2013 called "Kim French Transformation" which has been released as an EP. The EP is available in over 50 on line stores. With the single "We Are The Church" an upbeat catchy anthem that shares their ideals of bringing folks together! French also co produced her 2nd Album ‘ God Loves You, As You Are’ and her 1st Album Kim French Au-U-R along with Keith Fleetwood & Betti Kern. Kim has performed professionally for several years. Kim plays rhythm guitar, mandolin & harmonica and studied voice at the Flint Institute of Music, Flint, MI. She has performed throughout Michigan for many years, and in surrounding states including Kentucky, Tennessee and Vegas & Canada, as a soloist, duo and with several bands. Performing classic cover tunes from the 70s, 80s & 90s of several genres of music. In the late 90s she began focusing on writing and performing Christian music. She also has a love for performing Christmas classics. Born in Naples, Italy, Cj started playing piano stateside at the age of 6. Her studies in classical music span 20+ years. She has performed in venues up and down the Gold Coast of Florida. She was given a scholarship to FAU and studied piano under Russian coach Judith Berganger. She went on to private advanced voice studies at Chattanooga State where she won first place vocalist in Chattanooga's premier radio competition. She currently sings harmony in Kim French's Free2B "We R the Church" Tour and believes she is exactly where God wants her to be, singing and playing praises for God and offering her testimony to help others know they too, can begin over again, at any age, with a burning desire and Faith in God's Divine Plan! I would love to perform at your establishment, church or event! Myself or with their full band. Thank you for your time and interest! For Booking: (270)994-5379 or Email: kimmefrench@yahoo.com My partner in music Cj Short, left this earth. She will always live here and in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She now singing and playing for Jesus. RIP Cynthia J Short ( Cj )
