Kim Beggs and Kim Barlow in Concert - Mar 6 in Fredericton, NB Carpenter Kim Beggs and Banjo Kim Barlow will be performing a beautiful double bill concert at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre in Fredericton, NB on March 6 at 8 PM. They will perform solo as well as perform together. Like nobody's listening.These long time friends met in the Yukon in their early twenties. Their friendship grew out of a love for music, singing, cabins and campfires. There have been many years of confusion in terms of who is who. Those Yukon Kims;) Both born in Quebec. Both lived in the Shipyards of Whitehorse. Both tour around the world. Both got their britches around Yukon campfires, and both sing straight from the heart. Barlow is univeristy and classically trained guitar player, but taught herself to play Banjo around the campfire in the Yukon. Beggs is elementary age trained for piano; highschool trained for trumpet; but taught herself to play Guitararound the campfirein the Yukon.It is a rare occasion for Kim Beggs and Kim Barlow to perform publically together, let alone, outside the Yukon together.
