For the fifth year ASCAP and iStandard are thrilled to present this unique showcase opportunity specifically for producers and rappers. Eight EXPO attendees whose tracks were pre-selected by iStandard, will have their music played before a panel of prominent music industry tastemakers, who will then provide valuable and constructive criticism for the benefit of the participants and the audience. Two rappers have been selected, via submissions from EXPO attendees, to perform as well. Get your groove on at this beat-heavy event. The iStandard Producers Showcase has been held in 12 major US cities.

"...As you would expect from a track with a mind-altering title like that, Cosmic floats on an instrumental provided by Kid Vision that’s ambiently mellow, only anchored to Earth with some minimal but strong percussion. From there it’s a plethora of equally spacey rhymes from a collection of astronaut emcees, starting with an Apu-referencing Kam Royal, proceeding to the headliner’s mind-twisting bars and then closing with orbiting flows from Money Mars and KTSB. Someone call NASA, I think we just found the soundtrack to the next lunar rover landing. While Cosmic is a stand alone track, fans can keep an ear out for Kinetics collaborative project with One Love, Cross-Fading Back To Normal, which is still waiting for a solid release date."
