Kevin Weissman is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer in Denver and has been performing in Colorado and surrounding region for many years. He performs solo, as a member of large production bands and everything in between.
Kevin formed the Denver based trio/quartet KDog and the Howlers, featuring veteran players Jack Erwin (bass), Tim Molinaro (drums) and Chuck Lettes (pedal steel & sax)– Playing an eclectic mix of Americana, Rock & Blues (and whatever style their muse takes them …). KDog and The Howlers released there Album "City Lights" in 2020. Including the title track, it contains 14 songs written by Kevin Weissman.
Kevin was a member of The Trubelos, sharing lead vocals, guitar, songwriting and arrangements. He also co-produced their album Tumbleweed Road. While a member of the Trubelos, the band performed with Grammy winner LeAnn Rimes at The Rocky Mountain Music Festival, headlined the Eagle County Fair and Capitol Hill People’s Fair and regularly appeared at many of the premier clubs in the Denver area and throughout the state.
In addition, Kevin has performed with artists as varied as David Lindley, Big Head Todd, The Kingston Trio and a host of other local and national acts, at such venues as Bluebird Theater, Herman’s Hideaway, Teikyo Loretto Heights Theater, The Fillmore, Rohnert Park Music Festival, Boulder Creek Festival, Glenwood Springs Strawberry Days, and numerous other festivals and concerts.
Kevin is called upon to participate and collaborate in a variety of musical projects, often stepping in to front a band in need of his unique ability to entertain and engage audiences.
