About the Artist

“Juliet Simmons Dinallo draws on a variety of influences - Shelby Lynne, Dusty Springfield and Emmylou Harris all play out among them - but given her sweet caress and compelling stance, it's all but impossible to think of anyone other than Dinallo herself when listening to this utterly alluring album. In short, consider this an album for the ages.” -Lee Zimmerman, Country Standard Time “Dream Girl, indeed: This country/roots singer, originally from Boston, is now based in East Nashville, and it shows; “Dream Girl” is an amalgam of Nashville and Memphis styles, with plenty of influences yet still original and bracing. Top tracks include “Until I Go” and “Moonshine and Sweet Tea.” Tim Carter (who is a direct link to the legendary Carter Family) recorded the mandolin, fiddle, and banjo at his studio in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.” -Good Times Magazine, Metro NYC "Combining country aesthetics with Memphis soul grooves may not seem an obvious choice to make, but it works gangbusters here. Dream Girl and Juliet’s sweet voice are comfort food for the soul… listening to this is like getting into a really deep conversation with an insightful friend- something we could all use a little more of." -John Kereiff, The Rock Doctor, Canada
