J. P. Bohannon

J.P. Bohannon has been playing throughout the Philadelphia, NewJersey and New York areas for over three decades. In January 2023, his song "A Chunk of Mahogany." was awarded HONORABLE MENTION in AMERICAN SONGWRITER magazine's lyric contest. In Spring 2022, he performed two shows of original music in NYC at The New Old Rock Deli (the Blarney Stone) and has performed at the Tennessee Brew Works and the Commodore Grille in Nashville, TN. With acoustic music that spans decades and genres and a stable of ear-catching originals, Bohannon's shows have been great gathering places for enjoying some familiar and intriguing music.
