JO-HOBO WITNESS

Jo-Hobo Witness was founded in 2012 by Danny Contreras (R.I.P) and Geo Gomez. We started out writing tunes just drums guitar and vocals.. We really had no idea what direction we were gonna go? We sipped a bit of JD and Soco and within the hr our first song was written. it turned out to be "SAVE ME" we felt good heading in that direction. We added Blue and Phish after a couple of weeks and at that point the whole musical influences where coming in all directions. Phish being a more folk acoustical style of player and Blue coming in from the metal scene. We recorded a 3 song E.P with this line up, to our surprise it all fell into place. We played numerous shows together each one more memorable than the other. Hobo eventually parted with Blue and Phish and Danny and Geo were back to square one. Enter Joe Rodriguez on Bass. Joe fell right in making each new and old tune sound better as we went. Songs were coming out smoothly until the untimely passing of our best friend Danny 'DIGGLER" Contreras in June of 2016. His passing took a great toll on everyone close to him. Hobo has since been through a few changes. Hobo continues to write in hopes of keeping what was started in 2012 can pick up some fuel and keep the torch burning. Keep your boots on keep on Hobo dancing and sipping on that Hobo sauce.
