With a music portfolio that runs the gamut from Blues to Funk to Trap to Rock, Johns many years performing in bands as an acoustic and electric guitarist reflects his wide range of experience in the multi-faceted world of musical performance and song writing. And, while his music as a guitar player (50 years) is always his first passion, John has always focused his energy on an area that's been a persistent interest since his early teens, song writing.
During years of perfecting his songwriting and guitar techniques, John has recorded with fellow artist such as Bo Diddly, Myron Dove (bass for Santana), Dave Shogren (bass for Doobie Brothers), Danny Hull (Sax/harmonica for Doobie Brothers and Cold Blood), Sandy Mckee (drums for Cold Blood), Stevie "Keys" Roseman (stand-in keyboards for Journey, Chamber Bros., Joy of Cooking and many more), Al Costa (drums for Linda Tillery and the Loading Zone), John Duckworth (drums for Syndicate of Sound) to name a few. Along with his many years as a guitarist and singer, his body of songwriting work has yielded a plethora of original material as he has chosen to apply his creative discipline into the recording studio with much more original material to come.
