Independent Music Awards nominee John Crawford takes you on a musical journey with his band starting in Latin America through Spanish Flamenco rhythms via Israel and Bulgaria, with great tunes by Paco De Lucia, Avishai Cohen and Pat Metheny amongst others. John Crawford is one of the finest Latin/Jazz pianists on the scene, and brings impressive technique and musicianship to his blend of jazz, flamenco and Latin. He has worked with the likes of Latin legends Airto Moreira and Giovanni Hidalgo as well as UK based artists such as Snowboy and Roberto Pla. In addition his non-Latin work includes gigs with the likes of Bjork, Andy Williams and Kirsty MacColl. He is known as one of this country’s leading exponents of Spanish music and his set will be a mixture of classic flamenco re-workings and latin jazz.
