About the Artist

Joe Craig has been around the local music scene 1984 playing with local bands such as Arion, SIlent Whisper, Phantasm, Time to Think and Whiskey Inc. just to name a few. With the help of modern technology, it wasn't until 2001 that Joe started recording songs on his own under a side project known as Jjc. He recorded 3 albums under the Jjc name (Heart Shaped Tears in 2001, Jjc in 2002 and Printed In Lipstick in 2003). It wasn't until 2004 that Joe decided to drop the Jjc name and has recorded under his own name since then. Joe's influences range from the Hard Rock sounds of Queensryche and Dream Theater to the Pop and New Wave sounds of such artists as Robert Palmer, Duran Duran and Level 42 to the Alternative sounds of the Smithereens and Stone Temple Pilots. These influences helped shape Joe's sound over the years and helped him write 15 albums. Now with the recently released CD Firechild, Joe Craig continues to write songs that have been in rotations of local and internet radio stations alike for the past 17 years and there is no sign of Joe ever slowing down.
