“Jimmy Catlett headlined the show this evening with his band. Jimmy is a very hard performer to put in a specific category. I guess the most popular one to use at the moment is Americana, but to me Jimmy Catlett’s music is so much more than that trendy term. It’s timeless songwriting and a combination of rock, pop, folk, and even blues if you’re not careful. I couldn’t help but think a little of John Legend meets Tom Petty. My favorite songs from the show were from Jimmy’s CD, “The Big Beat”. “Tell Me Another One”, “Pale Companion”, and “Favourite Bird” had great stories brought to life with music... ”
