NATIONAL HOUSE CONCERT SERIES (HCS) BENEFIT GALA PRIMARY CAUSE: PTSD our CANADIAN TROOPS and MEN & WOMEN in SERVICE SHERATON SPECIAL EVENTS CENTRE - SHERATON HOTEL 3310 50 Ave, Red Deer, AB. T4N 3X9 January 23rd, 2016 “Healing the World – One Song at a Time” Planetary Persuasion has teamed up with Canada’s Next Music Superstar, Jessie TYLRE Williams to bring together a world class House Concert Series (HCS) Benefit Gala across Canada. It has proven time and time again that music has a way of healing and transforming lives. The Gala’s primary focus is to create awareness, funding for various programs and education on PTSD, and to help those suffering from and affected by PTSD. Over the years it’s been referred to as shell shock, war neurosis, soldier’s heart and combat stress reaction. Today we refer to it as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Although it has always been linked to those in combat, it can affect anyone who has been subjected to any type of trauma. Paramedics, EMS workers, Police Officers, firefighters, people in massive disasters, and the list goes on. PTSD can affect anyone, whether directly or when a family member or friend has been diagnosed with this disease. Our goal is to target 30 plus Towns and Cities across Canada over the next year, to not only create awareness but to reach our target goal of $500,000.00 to help fund new programs, educate the public and help those living with PTSD. We have the support from Wounded Warriors Canada, Can Praxis, The Royal Canadian Legions, ANAVETS, Vets Canada, Tri-Service Military Association, and many other great organizations that want to play a part in our goals by endorsing our fund raising campaign. A portion of the proceeds raised will be kept within the Community to help support local charities. There will be a 50/50 draw at each event as well as a silent auction and a Charity Photo Booth running all night and 100% of all proceeds will go to PTSD and the approved local charity. Our first Benefit Gala started in Innisfail, Alberta in April of 2015 at the Royal Canadian Legion #104. We have since toured to areas in other parts of Alberta, Manitoba and will continue on to other Provinces and cities and towns in Canada. We will continue on this mission for years to come! Our goal is not easy, but we know with the help from people like you, we can help to overcome homelessness for Vets across Canada, we WILL be able provide programs to help combat and aid in the recovery of PTSD, and we WILL establish a solid foundation to protect and serve those who have risked their lives for us, fallen in combat and continue to give us our freedom! Let’s all work together to make a difference! “Healing the World – One Song at a Time!” Happy Thoughts, Jessie Tylre WilliamsTickets Save
