2015 NATIONAL HOUSE CONCERT SERIES (HCS) BENEFIT GALA PRIMARY CAUSE: PTSD and our CANADIAN TROOPS Here is list of the Scheduled Tour Dates (more dates and locations to follow): July 3rd, 2015 - Medicine Hat Lodge, Medicine Hat, AB. July 25th, 2015 - Flare & Derrick - Turner valley, AB. August 15th, 2015 - Thompson River University - Kamloops, BC “Healing the World – One Song at a Time” Planetary Persuasion has teamed up with Canada’s Next Music Superstar, Jessie TYLRE Williams to bring together a world class House Concert Series (HCS) Benefit Gala across Canada. It has proven time and time again that music has a way of healing and transforming lives. The Gala’s primary focus is to create awareness, funding for various programs and education on PTSD, and to help those suffering from and affected by PTSD. Over the years it’s been referred to as shell shock, war neurosis, soldier’s heart and combat stress reaction. Today we refer to it as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Although it has always been linked to those in combat, it can affect anyone who has been subjected to any type of trauma. Paramedics, EMS workers, Police Officers, firefighters, people in massive disasters, and the list goes on. PTSD can affect anyone, whether directly or when a family member or friend has been diagnosed with this disease. Our goal is to target 40 plus Towns and Cities across Canada in 2015, to not only create awareness but to reach our target goal of $500,000.00 to help fund new programs, educate the public and help those living with PTSD. We have the support from “The Wounded Warriors of Canada”, Can Praxis, and The Royal Canadian Legions across Canada and many other great organizations that want to play a part in our goals by endorsing our fund raising campaign. A portion of the proceeds raised will be kept within the Community to help support local charities. There will be a 50/50 draw at each event as well as a silent auction running all night and 100% of all proceeds will go to PTSD and the approved local charity. Our first Benefit Gala was on April 18th, 2015 in Innisfail, Alberta at the Royal Canadian Legion. We will continue to tour Alberta for May and June and then branch out to B.C., Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and areas in the Atlantic Provinces later on in the year. Our last concert for 2015 will be scheduled in November and we will continue on in 2016 for our 2nd Annual HCS Benefit Gala’s. We will continue on this mission for years to come and plan to make these HCS Benefit Gala’s a household name. Thank you for your time and we look forward to working with in “Healing the World – One Song at a Time!” Let’s all work together to make a difference! Happy Thoughts, Jessie Tylre Williams
