Jesse Donovan is an experienced performing composer/songwriter. From classical, jazz, operatic, and blues roots comes the influence that has made Jesse a unique part of the metal community. His music consists of a wide collection of heavy sounds and symphonic scoring, and ranges from a whisper to a roar, featuring lyrics, (in his metal works), that are philosophically contemplative of human existence.
In live settings, Jesse currently performs solo on piano, performing his own personalized collection of original compositions, as well as some refined, hand-picked selections from other composers as well. His primary projects now consist of composing epic symphonic and power metal works and publishing them internationally. The first big metal album is coming this Christmas to all popular online music marketplace sites. Most of his other compositional work is for international clientele - video games, film, etc., as well as voice acting and voice over work. Jesse still loves performing live in a classy solo-piano capacity, in various, (especially intimate), settings.
For composition and production/audio engineering clients, Jesse also offers session musicianship on Drums, Bass Guitar, Vocals, Piano, and Guitar (lead and rhythm). With a Bachelor of Music Performance degree, multiple music awards, and over 25 years of experience at the piano and drums; over 17 years experience at guitar, bass, and vocals; and over 21 years experience as a performing musician in various live and studio capacities across the country; Jesse comes, well-equipped, to provide all venues with a wonderful performance and pleasant listening experience.
